เขาบอกว่า “รถติดอยู่ก็เลยโทรมาคุย” หรือ อีกคนก็ “กำลังนั่งส้วมอยู่ก็เลยโทร” ทำไมไม่เคยถามเราว่า กำลังทำอะไรอยู่ เรากำลังทานข้าวอยู่ ขับรถอยู่ คุยธุระอยู่ แล้วมารับสายเพราะอาจเป็นเรื่องสำคัญ แต่คนโทรมา โทรมาฆ่าเวลาเฉยๆ
จะโทรหาหลวงพ่อ ต้องตั้งท่า นั่งตัวตรงก่อนค่อยโทร คนเราทำอะไรก็ได้อันนั้นแหละ เห็นความสำคัญของคนที่โทรไปหา ก็จะตั้งใจฟังสิ่งที่เขาพูด เห็นว่าคำพูดเขามีค่า แต่สำหรับคนที่ไม่มีความนับถือคำพูดหรือคำแนะนำของฝ่ายนั้น ก็ไม่ต่างกับพฤติกรรมที่ตัวเองกำลังทำอยู่
People call when they’re stuck in traffic or when sitting on the toilet. Why don’t they ask what the other person is in the middle of doing? Eating, driving, working, discussing business matters with someone else, etc. I put those important things on hold to answer the call, because each call is considered important.
